British adventurer Chris Lucas and his actor father Niall, depend on each other for survival, as they canoe down one of the most remote rivers in Canada. The Yukon Assignment is a breathtaking exploration of one of the Earth’s last wildernesses and the story of how adventure can bring us together, irrespective of age.
Gentle in nature, this is a story of authentic adventure and relationship between son and father. The passing of time and changing relationships we have with our parents and children is fundamental to the human experience. We're coming back to SWOF this year on home turf in Cornwall. Performace with Q&A on the Friday 27th evening. Look forward to seeing you there.

On the 6th October at 12pm 'The Yukon Assignment' will be screened in the Adventure and Speaker's Barn at the South West Outdoor Festival (SWOF), Salcombe. This will be followed by a Q&A with the team. On Sunday 7th October at 1pm there is a second chance to see the film in the Yukon Territory Tipi. This will be followed by an adventure film making workshop with Charlie Fripp of Fieldgrazer Productions and Chris Lucas the Director. It is set to be a fantastic weekend of outdoor adventure inspiration!
